According to the report of office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs of the TUMS, Dr. M. H. Nekoofar, director of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking of the university announced that this seminar is held jointly and with the contribution of IRI Ministry of Health and IRI Ministry of Foreign Affairs, several universities including Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, University of Tehran and University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) of Spain. The seminar will be held in English.

Dr. Nekoofar said that the seminar is divided into four main panels namely international “Strategic Thinking”, “Mobility”, “Research” and “Education”. The seminar has organized two unique discussion panels about “Accreditation and Mobility” and “International Collaboration for World-class Research” in the first day and two specialized Persian round tables related to “Accreditation” and “Ranking” in the second day of the seminar.

The seminar keynote speakers are among top national authorities and officials of internationalized universities around the word from Canada, Spain, Australia, Bulgari, Switzerland, Ukraine, Germany, UK, Czech Republic and France, he said.

Dr. Nekoofar also added that Prof. Charles Oberling’s toga dedication ceremony, which is an important ceremony, will be held in the seminar. Prof. Oberling, the famous French pathologist who was the pioneer in designing a new educational curriculum based on the modern programs in Iran, will be proferred by his nephew’s wife, Dr. Laure Pain-Oberling, to TUMS officials.

Director of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking of the university pointed out that the first scientific committee of the IHE Seminar was held with the presence of Dr. Kheradmand Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs of TUMS, Dr. Hadian Vice-Dean for Research Affairs of TUMS International Campus, Dr. Shabani director of International Affairs and Development of TUMS, Dr. Takian Chair-Department of Global Health and Public Policy of MoH, Dr. Movaghar Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs of Sharif University of Technology, Dr. Dehghan representative of Amirkabir University of Technology and Dr. Ghahramani, Vic-Chancellor for International Affairs of University of Tehran on Wednesday, 8^th of March, 2017 in which the abstracts of the speeches, agenda and poster of the seminar were discussed.
