According to The Secretariat of International Accreditation of Iranian Medical Universities, Dr. Arezoo Asemi and Ali Bani adam, international officers from Urmia University of Medical Sciences and Sepideh Javedanfard, accreditation officer of the secretariat participated in this meeting which was held on Tuesday, October 24^th, 2017.

In this meeting firstly, the representatives of Urmia University of Medical Sciences reported on activities which have been accomplished since more than one year in order to operate international accreditation at the related university. This activities entailed filling the registration form on the secretariat’s website, completing the ASIC application form, performing the self-assessment process and documentation. Dr. Asemi asserted that Urmia University of Medical Sciences is now on the perfect state of readiness for International accreditation by ASIC.

Following this meeting, Javedanfard responded to the questions which were asked by Dr. Asemi and Bani adam related to some parts of documentation and ASIC application forms. Moreover, Javedanfard by focusing on important issues during ASIC last visit in Tehran, clarified the respective procedure and presented the detailed explanation on university readiness for inspection.
