This MoU was signed during a meeting hosted by the Technical University of Berlin in the presence of Dr. Kordi, the Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs of TUMS, Dr. Sahraeian, the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology, Dr. Takiyan, Vice-Dean for International Affairs, and Dr. Hamelmann, WHO Representative in Iran, on 15th October, 2018.
Dr. Kordi clarified that this MoU is the result of continuous talks and online meetings with Professor Busse, Head of the Department of Health Care Management at Technical University of Berlin, pointing out the fact that the aforementioned department has gained some achievements in areas such as monitoring the health of Europe and managing and improving the German health system, which could be shared with Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
He also added: “The agreement also emphasizes the educational and research cooperation between the peer departments of the School of Public Health and the Technical University of Berlin.”
The Technical University of Berlin is ranked 131st in the world and is considered one of the top universities in the field of health management.
