TUMS & University of Santiago de Compostela to Initiate Collaborations
Dr. Enrique Lopez Veloso, Director of International Office at University of Santigo de Campostela had a meeting with international officials of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) on 03 December 2014.
Following the visit Dr. Veloso paid to TUMS Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry and also Tehran Heart Center on 02 December 2013, the official took part in a meeting held on 03 Dec. 2014, attended by Dr. Nekoofar, Director of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking, and Vice Deans of TUMS Schools for International Affairs and a number of other officials.
TUMS officials elaborated on present activities and future plans of the schools and explained about pertaining departments, international collaborations and educational facilities.
Also, during the meeting, Dr. Veloso expressed happiness over his trip to Iran and learning about TUMS potentials and capabilities and introduced the University of Santigo de Campostela in a presentation.
Furthermore, the attendees discussed details of TUMS presence in the Consortium of European Universities, deciding to prepare an MoU draft for the two universities to be signed by the relevant chancellors.
