Background and aim: Regarding the increasing number of elderly people, their quality of life.
Becomes more important. Spiritual health is one of the important aspects of health status that is often neglected. This study
aims to identify the relationship between spiritual well-being and quality of life among elderly people residing in Kahrizak
Senior House.
Material and methods: It was a descriptive, correlational study. The sample included 141 elderly people residing in Kahrizak
Senior House who recruited by convenience sampling. Data was collected by Spiritual Well-Being Index (SWBI) and Short
Form Quality of Life (SF36) and analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficients, ANOVA, and t-test using SPSS-PC (v-16).
Results: The mean score of quality of life was (50.36±11.3). Women's quality of life was
Significantly lower than men (P=0.000). The mean score of spiritual well-being was (96.26±17.93). There was a positive
correlation between spiritual well-being and quality of life (P=0.008).
Conclusion: Regarding the lower levels of quality of life especially in women elderly, more.
Attention should be paid to this group of society. Awareness of the importance of spiritual well-being in caring of these people
is recommended

Please make a note if there are any follow up actions we need to talk with the member of congress : there is no need for follow up action. it is recommended that we provide facilities for more communication with specialists an researchers for coming to Iran and exchange their experences with us. if we have money facilities for exchange of information as well as easy visa taking for Iranian researchers in abroad congressess and scientific conferences, they will welcome to us in this regard. some of participants were interested in coming to Iran and see the situation of psychiatric ward and improvements in Iran. they wanted to know the context of Iran and ehnic conditions and its relation with psychiatric disorders especially depression and anxiety and drug abuse. If we have facilties for coming and going easily both of us will benefit of this exchange.
Your experiences about the travel processes(Providing ticket, accommodation,...) : the accomodation process was so hard because we could not send accomodation fee as well as registration fee via Iran Banks.
Meeting summary:(include: names of every one in attendance, outcomees and personal observatons of the metting, and please make a note if there are any follow up actions we need to take with the member of congress or their staff): : The 21st European Congress of Psychiatry was held in Nice, France from 6-9 April 2013 under Professor Danuta Wasserman’s presidency. The Congress motto was “Europe Challenges the Burden of Mental Disorders.” The congress brought together over 3700 participants from 90 countries. One of the important points of the congress was :"Young Investigator Award / Young Investigator (psychiatrists Prize Session" , free communication sessions and drug and the latest Medical instrument for mental illness exhibitions was so interesting. The congress executive and scientific members relations with attendances was so warm and intimate. The desk information for City Tour was attractive. We met many of psychiatrists, psychologists and psychiatric nurses and now we have email of some of them and communicate with each other regarding special issues such as conferences, congress and scientific program.
