no , but some of our colleages talking with some of delegate regarding to inviation of them to participate and present their scientific lectures and also if their work are top in the feild ,ask them to present thier work in the plennary lecture setions . the next Immunology congress in Iran will be held in april 2014 in mahmoud abad , mazandaran province in the next year . some of these person possibly professor Zikernagar the Noble prize winner accept the iranian society of Immunology (ISI) to attend in Iran and paticipate in the congress and present his lecture in the pelannary session , but I think an official and finacial support from the university is necessary , and I think the staff of the Iran society for Immunology will follow the invitation and informing the responsible person in the tehran university of medical sciences the research deputy and also the vice chancellor for global strategies and international affairs should helping the ISI staff for arranging the invitation of the sceintitis to IRAN for this congress . |

it was intersting for me that our research work in our country is relatively uptodate . our abstract was entitled as KIR and their HLA ligand in aGVHD in cidence post hematopoetic stem cell transplantaion , it is very important as in bone marrow trnasplantation service in Iran Shariaty hospital donor allocation is base on identical siblings regarding HLA typing , however in these patients we have 30 persent aGVHD , so it seems that other genes are also important in the occurance of aGVHD. so our poposal was important to if Killer immunoglobulin like receptor play arole in the aGVHD incidence and most of our poster wiever was in tersteted to know if the KIR genotype and HLA ligands are vluable in donor allocation in bone marrow or sten cell trnasplantation service. |
