Background: Individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) may experience considerable changes in quality of life (QOL) functioning. QOL is generally considered to be a multidimensional construct, such as t physical, functional, emotional, and social well-being.

Objectives: The objectives of this study were to compare quality of life in males with spinal cord injury (SCI) and normal male's population. Spinal cord injury (SCI) often causes severe disabilities and has a big effect on patient’s quality of life.

Study design: Cross-sectional study.
Methods: The quality of life is measured by the Short-Form 36-Item Health Survey (SF-36). 153 males with SCI and 1997 males from normal population males were included in the study. Regression analyses were applied to determine the variables affecting physical and mental health-related quality of life among the patients.
Results: The mean age of males with spinal cord injury is(33.10) and SD is(8.08) and these amounts in normal males population are mean age(35.1) and SD(16). The males with spinal cord injury in comparison with normal population have significantly lower scores in all scales except mental health. In Mental Health (MH) scale individual with spinal cord injury have higher score but the differences is not significant. Generally the differences were significant in 7 scales :Physical Functioning(p-value< 0.0001), Role limitation due to Physical problems (p-value<0.0001),Role limitation due to Emotional problems(p-value<0.0001), Bodily Pain(p-value<0.0001), Vitality(p-value<0.0001), General Health(p-value<0.0001), Social Functioning(p-value<0.0001).
Conclusions: The results showed that physical Functioning, Role limitation due to Physical problems, Role limitation due to Emotional problems, Bodily Pain, Vitality, General Health, Social Functioning were lower in individual with spinal cord injury than in normal population males; explanation of this difference might be that males with spinal cord injury were affected by their physical disabilities and it can be overshadow all areas of life especially quality of life, while males in normal population were in good physical situations and better quality of life. Mental Health (MH) is higher in males with spinal cord injury than normal population males but it is not significant; possible explanations for this difference might be related to conditions discrepancy between the males with spinal cord injury and males in normal population such as chronic conditions and mental maturity due to this hard condition. These possibilities should be investigated further in future studies. To improve quality of life in males with spinal cord injury counseling and psychotherapy and occupational therapy is needed and they need to come back to community.

Your experiences about the travel processes(Providing ticket, accommodation,...) : It was my 1th trip for congress in the other countries that was good for introducing our university and presentation of our works. Another thing in this travel is become familiar with another scientific person from other countries and sharing their experiences and we can hear about their work and experiences face to face. other countries and sharing their experiences and we can hear about their work and experiences face to face. Generally, it was fine. The main problem was the high expenses particularly the cost of accessing the Internet.
Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : The programs were performed on time every day and every session were finished on time. Congress venue in grand hotel was a very nice place with abundant amenities. I found the members of organizers extremely welcoming and helpful, the organization was exceptionally good. Actually it was fantastic, memorable event, both the Scientific and the social programs were great. The reception was very good. So that in the lunch menu you find more than 10 type food and more than 5 desserts. But the India was not very clean country most of people were poor and in spite of their poverty, they were happy.
