Title of your Abstract : nucleated red blood cells counts in pregnancies with idiopathic intra uterine growth retardation
country : france
From : Tuesday, September 9, 2014
To : Friday, September 12, 2014
Abstract(Please copy/paste the abstract send to the congress) : Objective: Elevated nucleated red blood cell (NRBC) count is introduced as a potential marker of intra-uterine growth restriction (IUGR). To investigate the probable association regardless of any known underlying disease, we aimed to study disturbances in NRBC count in infants experiencing idiopathic IUGR.
Materials and methods: Twenty three infants regarded IUGR without any known cause were chosen to be compared to 48 normal neonates. Blood samples were collected instantly after birth and the same measurements were done in both groups.
Results: NRBC count/100 white blood cells was significantly higher in the IUGR group (P value<0.001). pH measurements did not reveal any significant difference.
Conclusion: Increased NRBC count in cases of idiopathic IUGR in absence of chronic hypoxia could strengthen its predictive value suggested in previous studies. It could help early IUGR detection and beneficial intervention.
Keywords of your Abstract : NRBC, IUGR, Peripheral blood smear

Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : there are many investigations about fetal life but this is a new era and it needs a long time for progression.
The Likert theory believes that every thing that happen in embryonic time can affect our life in adulthood , it meens that when you have diabetes melitus in adulthood it originates from embryonic life and some insults in fetal life can cause a permanent damage to stem cells that predispose persons to some disease.
This congress focous on how we can measure these insults objectively and how we can prevent a person from a disease in adulthood by interfering in fetal or embryonic life.
