Abstract(Please copy/paste the abstract send to the congress) :	Various approaches to the cephalic part of lateral crus Amir A. Sazgar Professor Facial Plastic Surgeon Tehran University of Medical Sciences The usual culprit behind most postrhinoplasty tip abnormalities is aggressive resection of the lower lateral cartilages in an attempt to refine the nasal tip. While the results may be esthetically and functionally acceptable in the short term, the dead space that is created is subject to continued, long-term contracture, resulting in undesirable esthetic and especially functional consequences. The modern approach to functional rhinoplasty recognizes the importance of the tip framework’s structural integrity and preserves of the tip support such as lateral crus of lower lateral cartilage. Herein, we describe different approaches to the cephalic part of lateral crus for tip-plasty, which focuses on conservative measures aimed at stabilizing and reorienting the cartilaginous structures and support instead of reducing them. In this lecture we try to focus on development of different approaches that are basic for “Modern Rhinoplasty”.

The most important part of my lecture is that " as a faculty member of congress", I tried to introduced TUMS as a pioneer of Facial plastic training in middle east.

Please inform us if there are any follow up actions we need to talk with the members of the congress :	The Congress took placed in Asan Medical Center. Asan Medical Center is a very advanced medical center in south Korea. I was surprised when I compare the center with some famous center as Stanford Hospital, CA, USA. TUMS can send some visiting scholar to south Korea as executive or scientific visitor for exchanging the experience. I met a lot of visiting scholar from some asian countries that came to Korea for education and research.

Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: :	Facial plastic surgery as an important sub division of Otolaryngology has developed unexpectedly in south east Asian countries especially in Korea. In middle east Turkey is well recognized as a facial plastic pole in the region. In spite of many facial plastic and reconstructive surgery that perform in Iran every day, there is not any type of academic or accredited education in this post graduate training in tehran university of medical sciences in otolaryngology department. There was a special Academy for facial and reconstructive surgeon in South Korea and the congress was the 6th congress of this Academy.
