May 23rd to 25th, Imam Khomeini Hospital will hold a 3-day workshop focusing on Infection Control Microbiology
A 3-day workshop on Infection Control Microbiology will be held at Imam Khomeini Hospital Central Laboratory from 23 May, 2016 to 25 May, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Course instructors include:

Professor Willem van Leeuwen from Leiden University, Leiden, the Netherlands;

Dr. Gerard Parlevliet from Royal Hospital of Bronovo Nebo, The Hague, the Netherlands;

Faculty members from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)
The following subjects will be discussed during this 3-day program:

Urinary tract infections: A case study (treatment & infection prevention);

Tuberculosis: An overview with a case report;

Norovirus;

Hospital-acquired infection: A general overview;

Transmission of m.o. in general: How to prevent it?;

Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization;

Surgical site infections: MRSA as an example (Physicians can participate as well);

Big 4 infections in the ICU;

Invasive line sepsis
