Please inform us if there are any follow up actions we need to talk with the members of the congress : |
As Iranian delegate of SIU, we are regularly in contact with the people in charge and are exchanging ideas via emails. If necessary, I will forward the relevant correspondence. A recent sample correspondence can be seen below:
Dear Jalil,
I would like to follow up on our recent discussion in Dubai regarding the possibility to webcast some of our programs to our colleagues in Iran.
Jean de la Rosette is planning a meeting with live surgery on January 28 2016 in his centre in Amsterdam. I attached the preliminary program for your perusal.
I wonder if we could not take this opportunity to attempt webcasting this program with the Iranian Urological Society. If there is an interest on your part, maybe we could try to formalize the day with some industry partners that could help support the logistics on your side.
Please let me know if this could be of interest and we could work together with Prs Simforoosh and Pourmand to see it this is feasible and of interest to the Iranian SIU Section.
With best regards,
Simon

Your experiences about the travel processes(Providing ticket, accommodation,...) : |
Everything went well. |
Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : |
Every year, the organizing committee presents new issues and facilitates the congress process. The audio-visual equipment was quite advanced and audiences could see the speakers on monitors and hear their voices with the best quality at any spot in the hall. The facilities provided for issuing certificates, paying registration and membership fees were admirable and all tasks were done within a few minutes. This leads to better planning for subsequent years and this brings about more income for organizers and more enthusiasm for the participants. Fortunately, all programs including scientific and IT sessions as well as the events were held regularly from 6AM to sometimes 6PM and up-to-date, various discussions were raised. |
