Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress : The European Association for Health Information and Libraries is an active association uniting librarians and information professionals working in medical and health science libraries in Europe. The Association counts almost 1900 members from 64 countries. EAHIL supports professional development, improves cooperation and enables exchanges of experience amongst its members, through a yearly meeting in the form of a workshop or a conference. EAHIL (European Association for Health Information and Libraries), among other activities, organizes an annual conference to present the latest information in the field of medical library and information sciences in the form of articles (lectures and posters), workshops Holds interactive meetings of medical and health librarians in European organizations, universities, hospitals and libraries. The main theme of this year's conference was "Crossing the Bridge: New Challenges and Opportunities" hosted by Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey, on July 5-8. Librarians in the fields of medicine, public health, veterinary and health information specialists can attend this annual conference. Two researchers from Iran, Dr. Fatemeh SheikhShoaei, a faculty member of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in the lecture section and Maryam Moghaddami, PhD student in Knowledge Management, University of Tehran in the lecture section and an interactive training workshop were present at the conference. The 2021 conference was completely virtual with presentations of lectures, interactive workshops, public meetings, continuing education courses, poster exhibitions and social activities, exchange of ideas and sharing of best practices in the Zoom software platform, and faculty members and students of the medical library and information science department of TUMS also attended the conference virtually. The majority of the conference programs were free, and students in this department were able to benefit from these programs either in college or remotely. More information about this conference can be found at the following link: https://eahil.digicon.ist/lobby
Your observations and outcomes : In this virtual congress, I was familiar with professors from Turkish universities, European universities, and other countries all around the world. I could take some new topics in my field like working with new facilities in Embase Database and share my experiences in the clinical librarian services field with my colleagues from other countries.
Please upload your poster or first page of your oral presentation : http://gsia.tums.ac.ir/images/UserFiles/66577/Forms/762/EAHIL_2021.pdf
