Advances in Tissue Engineering 2014, Short Course

Welcome to "Advances in Tissue Engineering Short Course"

We are pleased to announce the short course on Advances in Tissue Engineering to be held this September. This certificate-based short course focuses on the education of basic principles of Tissue

Engineering as well as advances in this field. Leading experts will present the topics as follows:

  1. Three dimensional cell culture Vs two dimensional cell culture
  2. Biomaterials for regenerative medicine
  3. Synthesis of biomaterials in tissue engineering
  4. Non-destructive characterization of biomaterials and tissues
  5. Clinical tissue engineering

This course is a joint program between Tissue Engineering Department of School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences and, Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University.

The goal of this short course is to provide a set of skills and views for researchers, scientists, physicians, dentists and students who have an interest in translational research, moving basic research toward applications, and assessing the efficacy and effectiveness of potential new treatments using tissue engineering achievements.
