Internship Program

The Dermatology Internship Program (DIP) is a 15-day program for students admitted to School of Medicine. DIP is one of the minor parts of a major Internship Program. Typically, between 10 to 30 students are chosen per course from the School of Medicine. Before commencing clinical training, students have a brief session of topical and systematic treatments in Dermatology. DIP predominantly runs as out-patient clinics with two or three night shifts.

The practitioners become divided between dermatology residents and directly visit patients. They can gain experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common skin diseases under direct supervision of dermatology residents and faculties. The entire DIP course runs at Razi Hospital affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
