The department of Islamic Teachings is one of the departments of basic sciences in TUMS School of Medicine that offers educational services to all undergraduate students in all faculties of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

One of the main missions of the department is to provide an appropriate field to promote students' awareness about what is religiously expected of them.

Moreover, the academic members try to create a favorable atmosphere to answer the questions and meet the intellectual needs of students and to repel the common doubts which are common in the society.

It is hoped that with the efforts of all departments, we will be able to train medical staff who consider themselves responsible before the Lord and the people.
