Prophet Muhammad said that devils are chained in Ramadan. This holy hadith means that it is easier for people to control their behavior in the wake of all temptations in Ramadan. He has asked us to keep the devils restrained by avoiding to do harm. The gates of heaven are open, so we should try to do as much good as we can. God makes our journey to the heavenly state of utmost peace and happiness effortless and accessible under His divine grace in the month of Ramadan. The gates of hell are closed, and God is eager to forgive the sins. This is the month that we can pray, for our sins to be forgiven, and for our wills to come true.
Prophet Muhammad said that the nights of Ramadan are the best nights, the days are the best days, and the hours are best hours. The heart of the person who fasts beats for the ones who are in need. He cares more, as he understands deprivation. Prophet Muhammad asked us to help those in need as much as we can in this holy month. He said that the person who fasts has the highest rank before God, and even his sleep and his breathing are valued as praying.
