OPATEL project which aims to launch an online platform for academic teaching and learning in Iraq and Iran, has planned to have its first training course in November 19-24, 2017 at Patras, Greece. This course will take place at University of Patras, library and information center building. The main activities of this course will cover areas below:

• Using digital technologies in education
• Open education (open tools and open educational resources)
• Using Learning Management Systems (LMS) in education
• LMS in higher education: the case of Greece and the University of Patras experience
• Visit learning education center in University of Patras

Three delegates from each partner university are going to attend this 5-day workshop. At the end of this course, participants are expected to promote this project by using the acquired knowledge and applying it in to the OPATEL project in their country.
