TUMS International Campus

The International Campus was founded in 2006, as the international division of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. All International Students who are admitted to TUMS will study as a part of its International campus.

IC is committed to provide its best for all students while expecting these students to offer their best to the people and communities that they live in. The doors of the International Campus are open to international students coming from all cultures and backgrounds. In order to provide equal opportunities for talented students who come from a modest background, scholarships and financial assistance are available.

As we all know, teaching the medical sciences can have implications on people's cultural values and faith-based beliefs. To respect all values and beliefs, the curriculum, lectures, as well as the student housing centers are adapted for a culturally diverse student and faculty population.

International students are important to us. Upon their graduation, they will return to their countries and will start to practice medicine or teach. In order to prepare them, we have designed a curriculum that is similar to curriculums in other universities around the world. The courses that we offer and references that we use are comparable to those of other countries. The quality of the education is not only enriched by the credentials and teaching of all faculty members, but also by students’ feedback, reviews, suggestions, and constructive criticism. At the end of each course, each student is obliged to anonymously provide evaluation of their teacher’s skills, curriculum, and resources. We take students’ opinions and input seriously.
