The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2013-2014 powered by Thomson Reuters are the only global university performance tables to judge world class universities across all of their core missions - teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. The top universities rankings employ 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators.
The top 10 institutions remain unchanged from the last year, although there has been some movement among them. While California Institute of Technology, or Caltech, again tops the table, Harvard displaces Stanford from equal second with Oxford. University of Tokyo still is Asia’s number one in this report.
400 eminent universities were listed in THE world University Rankings’ website. From I.R.Iran Sharif University of Technology could stand in 251-275 position.
