QS, which provides rankings for world universities, evaluated 3002 universities in 2014, considering 30 fields of study. The institution normally publishes list of 200 top universities worldwide, however, information about the universities with lower ranks are also available.
As quoted by Mehr News Agency, TUMS was ranked within the range of 301-400 by QS subject ranking.. The ranking indicates that TUMS tops the other universities nationwide and other medical universities of Iran are ranked in places after 400.
In QS subject rankings in the field of Medicine, TUMS, Mashhad Medical University and Islamic Azad University are the three top universities in Iran respectively.
TUMS is ranked first in Biology, and third in Chemistry and Operations Research in Iran.
