Dr. Kheradmand, Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs, met with Prof. Hubert Vermeersch ,from University of Ghent, to establish mutuall collaboration in the field of education and research
Dr. Kheradmand, Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs, signed an agreement with Prof. Hubert Vermeersch, from University of Ghent, Belgium upon Joint Degree Programs, Exchange of Students and Academic Staff, Exchange of Scientific, Educational & Scholarly Materials, and Special Projects.
Prof. Vermeersch also visited some departments of TUMS as Firouzgar Hospital, Operation Room of Cancer Institute, Craniomaxillofacial Research Center, Hematology-Oncology Research Center, Central Library, Laparoscopy Training Center, School of Nursing & Midwifery, School of Rehabilitation, School of Allied Medical Sciences and International Students Accommodation.
In his visit to TUMS he was engaged in talk with the authorities of the departments figuring out initial potentials of each.
He mentioned that Internationalization is the emphasize of University of Ghent and establishing such collaboration would be a great opportunity for the two parts.
