Title of your Abstract : Correlation between glycemic control, guided insulin dosing and diet in type 1 diabetes patients

Abstract(Please copy/paste the abstract send to the congress) : objectives: One of the most common concerns among adults dis ignored with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is glycemic. The aim of this study was to assay glycemic control status in relation to diet and insulin therapy regimen in subjects with type 1 diabetes patients. methods and materials: Material and methods: I the cross- sectional study 85 patients with T1DM from Iranian Diabetes Association were include (mean 14.2+ or-2 years). The 24- hour food records of 3 consecutive days were completed for participants. Glycemic control was assessed by use of hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C) levels. Results: The mean HbA1C level was 8.1+ or 1.5%. HbA1C levels reflecting not good glycemic control were found 57% of subjects with T1DM. HbA1C level was significantly associate with meal frequency (p=0.01), home blood glucose measurement (p=0.01),clinician visiting (p=0.01), hospitalization in last ear (p=0.002),education (p= 0.003) and family size (p=0.001).conclusion: The percentage of subjects with HbAC levels above the target value and poor glycemic control indicates and urgent need for effective strategies to improve metabolic status in youth with diabetes.

Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : Participating in this congress was useful for us. Because me and my colleges achieved good experiences about holing the next international Nutrition congress in Tehran. We met so many nutritional professors and took with them about coming to our congress. That was useful for us. This congress was happened success fully and was perfect.: 848 participants from 62 different countries! More than 40 hours of work (12 hours every day), with a total of 180 hours of activities, workshops, meetings, debates and a wonderful and unforgettable social programme expressing the local Canarian traditional food culture.
