According to the Center for Developing Scientific Information and Publications, Deputy for Research and Technology, Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Iranian universities of medical sciences can now access UpToDate clinical decision support database. Faculty members, researchers, physicians and students can now use this database to manage clinical processes and make more comprehensive clinical and medical decisions.
According to its own description, UpToDate is "an evidence-based, physician-authored clinical decision support resource" which is accumulated by contributions from more than 6000 authors, editors and reviewers. UpToDate states that its users exceed one million and are from 174 countries.
