Since 21st March marks the Persian New Year, Tehran University of medical Sciences (TUMS) has invited 14 ambassadors to attend a formal ceremony in Central Building, on February 25th, 2013 to great them in advance.
To celebrate Persian New Year, TUMS Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategy and International Affairs (GSIA) has invited 14 ambassadors whose countries have students currently studying at TUMS. During the ceremony, a brief history of the Persian New Year, a short background of TUMS and its current educational and research activities will be presented and possible ways to expand cultural and academic collaboration will be discussed. This 2-hour meeting will be a good opportunity for TUMS ambassadors or their representatives, TUMS authorities and TUMS International students and to meet in person and plan future directions.
