In order to develop scientific and international collaborations, the Chancellors of the five Iranian universities including Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Iran University of Medical Sciences, University of Tehran, Amir Kabir University of Technology, and Sharif University of Technology singed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
A joint MOU was signed among the five largest Iranian Universities in a joint meeting hosted by Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) on April 19th, 2016.
This MOU aims to establish and expand scientific, research and educational cooperation of the five Iranian universities in international levels. This is also signed in order to optimize our use of the joint potentials of those five universities in the fields of education, researches, and dormitories facilities to attract more international students and professors from all around the world. One of the other purposes of this collaboration which is identified in this MOU is to cooperate with those universities to hold the joint workshops، Conferences, and seminars in international levels. In the framework of signing this MOU, each of the parties are going to cooperate in payment of fees, formalities, and other issues related to international guests to develop international relations. In this meeting the universities’ Chancellors gave their opinions about establishing more cooperation with those universities and emphasized on the importance of this joint collaborations.
It’s worth mentioning that these five universities have had some valuable experiences for joint cooperation in the framework of Islamic Republic of Iran Universities Consortium (IRIUC) before and it will be reached to its highest level through signing this MOU.
