Some questions were raised about the collecting samples, doing experiments, zoonotic aspects of Giardia. The prevalence of intestinal parasite in Iran were discussed. |

It is not necessary for university action about this Congress but there are some expert scientists that work in modern parasitological accepts who are interested coming to Iran for sharing their knowledge with us and students. It would be great if the university can invite and prepare facilities for them to coming Iran and holding workshops and attending in the international conference in Iran. Also, if it is possible the university organize facilities for us to perform joint project with these scientists. |

This Congress was a combination of two Congresses one 8th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health and the second 5th Congress of Scandinavian-Baltic Society for Parasitology with the 359 speakers who presented their work, and the nearly 500 poster presented in two sections each poster was presented for two days. The Congress had six different tracks, each covering a number of topics. Each topic was covered in one or more presentations, panel discussions or poster sessions during the Congress.
The combination of two congresses in one made this Congress more appealing and useful for me, as everyday had several sessions that at least in each track, I could find my attractive subject for attending. Altogether, I believe that the debates in this Congress have enlightened me, challenged me, and encouraged me in my current and new research. |
