Your experiences about the travel processes(Providing ticket, accommodation,...) : |
We have many problems to pay for reservation and registration fees because we must pay online and we hadn't any credit card. At the end we asked someone to pay for us from England and we sent the money for him.
We had some difficulties to catch our visa because of long process and unresponsiveness of Hong Kong embassy in Iran. So I advise if any other members of faculty want to travel to Hong Kong, to register for visa as soon as possible (It's better if do it from 3 month ago or more.) Hong Kong had hot and wet weather. Hotels have small rooms because of high price of land. There was no problem for transfer and accommodation because we reserved for it from Iran at the time of congress registration. |
Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : |
I think it was a good experience because I met many colleagues from other countries and we talk about common problems in ED management and the solutions we have for them. Also there are many new things about medical education in emergency department. There was some lecture about the difference of Emergency Medicine and other specialties and enter disciplinary relationships. I also enjoy the preconference workshop and I think I could do some new research with this new experience to relief patients’ pain without drug and as a safe manner! |
