This was the first time I presented an abstract in EADPH, and as the congress theme was geriatric dentistry, my field of interest, I had the opportunity to visit and discuss professional aspects in this regard with many great names such as Professor de Vischer from the Netherlads.
The main theme of the Conference was on “Ageing and oral health related quality of life” and the programme contained scientific presentations by invited renowned researchers on this field, thereby provided a forum for fruitful discussions about the oral health of older adults and how this affects their general health and quality of life. In addition, the congress also focused on the policies and interventions for addressing the burden of dental caries in Europe, further highlighting the importance of working in partnership to improve the oral health and quality of life of the population.
