It was a very helpful opportunity in designing some joint research projects between the two departments and implementing new protocols for assessment of athletes in the field of cardiovascular disease. I planned to carry out the research project on cardiopulmonary exercise testing of heart failure patients and set the exercise test protocols of the two centers as a general approach for both departments. I cooperated in other joint projects like international validation of MECKI Score which is prognostic tool for the management of heart failure. Publishing an original article in the Swiss Sports Medicine journal provided an opportunity to work with Swiss Sports Medicine department for future plans. |
