The Congress Reporting
Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress : A report on the 2019 International Headache Congress in Dublin, Ireland Every 2 years the International Headache Society holds congresses. Each congress is held in a different country from around the world. In 2019 the congress was held in Dublin, the capital city of South Ireland, from September 5th-8th. About 2000 attendees from different countries attended the congress. This congress took place in the convention center of the city in 2 main halls and a few smaller ones. On the first day, scientists and experts presented important topics as teaching courses in two parallel programs from the early morning to the afternoon. I attended the most interesting teaching course entitled "Primary and secondary considerations for clinicians". They suggested some key points for better management of various types of headaches. On the 2nd through 4th days of the congress, the main lectures were presented in the main halls by authors in different fields, including basic sciences and clinical approaches to different headaches. In the auxiliary halls, young researchers gave lectures on their work. This part of the congress was also very interesting in my opinion and I believe there were some interesting topics that can be extracted from their research to carry out in our country. Another impressive and scientific part of the congress was related to the poster presentations. This activity provided a good chance to meet researchers from around the world and share our information. I presented two posters there. One of my main goals for attending such congresses, besides scientific gain, is to present our country and our university as an active and high quality center in the field of headache.
