The Ph.D. degree in speech therapy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences was commenced in 2008. Duration of this degree is 4 year. This is a postgraduate academic, consisted of clinical and theoretical courses and research programs. The goal of theoretical courses is developing knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving skills of students through scientifically based courses that incorporate advanced research methods, neurology, neurophysiology, linguistics and etc.
The research programs are aimed at providing students with the advanced research skills (Research Methods, Statistics, developing test, and Writing literature) required for the scientific study in speech and language areas.
Each Ph.D. student may has a certain line of research, who follow it through theoretical and research programs. |
