A Clinical Attachment gives an insight into working within Iran and is a significant means for physicians to learn about some topical and regional clinical practices. This type of program is intended to build confidence and improve recruitment potential and chances of passing exams.
Who Can Attend?
This course is designed for specialist or subspecialist physicians and/or consultant physicians in different aspects of medicine (Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, ENT, Family Medicine, Forensic Medicine, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Occupational Medicine, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pediatrics neurosurgery, Psychiatry, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Sports Medicine, and Urology).
** For this program, it is not required to gain approval from the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education for any applications.
Requirements:
An approved document of residency (specialty) and/or fellowship (subspecialty) programs is required to apply for this program.
Program Duration:
Three months (can be extended to six months upon request)
Tuition Fee:
750 USD for a three-month program

Visa Application:
TUMS will assist you in obtaining your visa after you are admitted.
All international students are required to obtain a student visa from the Iranian Consulate/Embassy in their home country before departing for Iran. After we receive your completed Visa Application Form (VAF), at least six to eight weeks should be allowed for the completion of the visa application.
Students will enter Iran with a one-month visa. After visiting their school and getting familiarized with the schedule and surroundings, students will be accompanied to the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology in order to extend their student visa (if necessary).
