The major issue was on the status of child psychiatry in Iran.It was interesting for them that we as an Asian country participated at an European meeting.They gave me positive feedback on my scientific and interesting research because it was a kind of prospective study and evaluating the outcome of bipolar disorder in children and adolescents. |

I am not sure to understand the exact meaning of this question.As a member of the TUMS and the Iranian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry,I should say that we have tried several times to settle an international congress and although we had some invited guests from overseas but the situation was so difficult that the number of the foreign participants was very low.I think we need the support of the TUMS to promote our academic status in the scientific world. |

I was satisfied with the great organization of the congress program and the politeness of the executive committee members.In terms of the scientific program,there were many seminars and workshops on different psychiatric topics,some were presented in Spanish language but most of them were in English,most were organized by famous child psychiatrists but many talks and lectures were presented by young and active students or physicians.They had tried to particularly support the young scientists.The keynote and state of the art lectures provided comprehensive and new information. |
