1.Brief summary of Leave : |
I spent near three months in the Amsterdam Medische Centrum (AMC) (Emma children hospital was also located in this center). I spent time in pathology ward and also pediatric ward and attended several clinics, several joint sessions with pathologist and clinicians and also attended clinical laboratory. |

2.List the objectives of your sabbatical leave as listed in your proposal and indicate how completely they were met : |
- I wanted to be acquainted with new approaches and techniques in pathology and laboratory. - I wanted to see the approach to patients in clinics. |

3.Acheivements(Publications,research,et.al.) : |
It was a very special time for me and I learned a lot from the academic society in the Netherlands. |

4.Assessment of Value of Sabbatical leave(benefits,faculty development,future professional activities,...) : |
I hope that we in the future we can have better access to equipments in order to run research projects. I will donate the money of the trip to my hospital lab in order to buy equipments (device to assess chloride in sweat which is very needed in a children hospital). I also learned some approaches and I want to apply them in our lab for example I use recorder during preparation of tissues in order to save time and paper. I also had time to read near 2000 pages of journal of pediatric gastro enterology related to North American Society For Pediatric Gastro Enterology Hepatology And Nutrition. |
