Your experiences about the travel processes(Providing ticket, accommodation,...) : |
at the time that my article was accepted for the congress Tehran university of Medical Sciences had not started giving the travel grant to the students for medical congresses before the event and also the process of getting the permission for going to another country was very very hard and time taking specifically for males who have military service and have to bale two separate times for the military and university to travel.it would be great if the university could ease and shorten these processes and make the bales less expensive. |
Please give a briefing of your own observations and outcomes of the congress: : |
As a medical student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) I have begun my researches with Prof. Ahmad Reza Dehpour as my supervisor in TUMS pharmacology department and Brain and Spinal Injury Research Center since 2013.
I know the integration of research, and clinical knowledge is the key in solving clinical problems. As I am seriously considering continue my researches in the fields of basic science and clinic after I qualify as an M.D. I am keenly interested in acquiring more theoretical knowledge and practical skills in these areas. As a medical student and a researcher in TUMS, I have gained laboratory experience and co-authored some basic science articles especially pharmacology with Professor Dehpour, my academic objective is to develop in the field of basic sciences with a special focus on the applying new findings in solving clinical problems such as use of drugs in spinal cord injury and memory impairment for treatment and palliation which I have worked on lately.
After I found out about this congress, I found it very influential in my academic future. For sure this opportunity brought me a great experience in an international environment and a networking opportunity with students and professors from all over the world.
Also as one of my latest research abstracts have been accepted to be presented in this congress i was really eager to be able to present my work in this occasion. It was very fortunate that I could have participated in this experience
