Program Description
This course aims to introduce community-based rehabilitation (CBR) as a strategy for community development, and to discuss its principles, and structures. It prepares students to design, implement and evaluate CBR.

Program Location
School of Rehabilitation of Tehran University of Medical Sciences: TUMS School of Rehabilitation is well known for developing high quality professional programs in Physiotherapy, Audiology, Optometry, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. This school, with the history of about 48 years, was founded in 1965. This center is a nationally recognized leader in the education of allied health providers in Iran. Its history, influence and academic strengths have made it one of the most prestigious rehabilitation centers in the region. Enhancing the level of health in society by participating in international health and wellbeing programs to reach excellence in education and research is a major goal of this center.
