With the Presence of Representatives from Different Parts of the University/ Coordination Meeting for International Reaccreditation of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)

According to public relations of office of international affairs, at the beginning of this meeting which was held on April 18 ^th, Dr. Nekoofar, director of international relations, accreditation & ranking explained about self-assessment process during the last four years, formation of international accreditation network at TUMS, and formation of different committees for accreditation in five vice chancellor’s office.

Dr. Nekoufar clarified that the four- year certificate on international accreditation by ASIC has been finished and university reaccreditation is going to be held on April 2^nd and 3^rd this year.

Director of international relations, accreditation and ranking also said that the two days university reaccreditation plan will begin with self-assessment report and will be continued by a visit from Nursing and Midwifery School as one of the elected school of the university.

He mentioned that visit of Chamran sport complex  and dormitory are going to be visited by this body and at the end of the first day and on the second day, after visiting TUMS core facility, in a closing ceremony the related conclusion is going to be made by the presence of university chancellors and vice chancellors as well as ASIC inspectors

In the following, representatives of different departments in the university gave their report on their self-assessment process which had been made in the last four years and the audience expressed their opinions.

Moreover, submitting the self-assessment report to ASIC inspectors and the importance of integrity of information had been discussed. In this meeting Dr. Halabchi, vice-chancellor for students affairs, Dr. Nekoofar director of International relations, accreditation and ranking, Dr. Mirzazadeh, Director of Educational Development Office of Medical Sciences Education, Dr. Shamshiri, representative of vice chancellor for research affairs, Dr. Sadeghi representative of vice chancellor for student affairs, Dr. Amanlou, representative of vice chancellor for Management Development and Resource Planning, Dr. Saberi namin, coordinator of vice chancellor for research affairs, Ms. Tania Azadi, Ms. Sepideh Javedanfard, and Mr. Nasiraie officers of vice chancellor office for International affairs, and vice chancellor office for Management Development and Resource Planning were all present in this meeting.
