Overview

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is  a branch of dentistry to treat many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. An oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a regional specialist surgeon treating the entire craniomaxillofacial complex including anatomical area of the mouth, jaws, face, skull, as well as associated structures.

 

Department Activities

 

Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has three main goals:

  1. Education: We provide a basic education for undergraduate dentistry students.
  2. Research: we prepare and submit undergraduate thesis based on the researches.
  3. Treatment: Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery offers surgical treatment of many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region under the supervision of scientific members of the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
