The International campus of TUMS School of Dentistry was founded with the acceptance of 50 students in Kish Island in 2007. The aim of the Dental School is to achieve progress in research and educational fields and to participate in International arenas. This school has prepared all prerequisites for achieving these goals. Conducting collaborations with well known and creditable universities around the world in the field of education, research, joint Degree Programs, students exchange and academic staff exchange are also our goals. The Dental school is ready to accept international students from all around the world and train them to be skilled professionals.
Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is accredited with premier status by the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC). All educational programs offered at TUMS and its affiliated institutions and hospitals have been approved by the governmental, academic, and professional bodies that have credibility and responsibility in the respective areas.
TUMS is committed to the highest standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in pursuit of its mission of education, research, patient care, and public service. To fulfill this, TUMS Accreditation Commission was founded in 2011. The Commission is an alternative accreditation model developed by the Office of Vice Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs to ensure high criteria and excellence in performance in teaching, learning, health, and patient care. The Commission developed a plan to demonstrate the quality assurance structure throughout the university.
TUMS' focus today is to become the first Iranian medical university to be accredited by prestigious world accreditation organizations.
